Smile when Angry #DecemberWonderings
So, I have a verdict in regards to smiling when you’re
annoyed. It works! To an extent.
So I tried to smile. And afterwards, I slowly started to
feel better. I wouldn’t say it was completely down to the smiling though. I
also listened to some feel good country music. I think that’s just the trick,
to know what you need when you’re in that state of mind where you wouldn’t mind
watching everything burn after you’ve set fire to it. Sometimes feel good music
works, other times reading, sometimes some mellow music is due or worship
songs. Each moment is different and demands to be treated differently. But one
thing is common, in none of the experiences should you actively wallow, try and
make yourself feel better. In trying you declare you’re not going to be put
down. There are so many ways to try and make yourself happy, it could be food,
that massive mug of hot chocolate (I had one of those) or even having a nap or
disengaging yourself from the situation through binging on a TV series.
Make the most of every moment even the ones you wished never
happened.
