Good Good Father continued…
Hello there!
I'm back once again after a rocky start to the year. But
despite the trials I'm already facing, I'm really thankful. I’m thankful that I
am alive, that I am well and healthy. I’m thankful that my friendships are
deepening and most of all I'm thankful that my faith is growing.
At the end of last year, I really started to make the effort
to connect more with God on a personal level, to get to know who he is more. To
truly analyse and understand what I believe in. to read His word more. And it
has begun. I've started reading my bible more, taking note of feeling when I
feel them, seeking actively for God's guidance and troubles come at me. And it’s
working. I’ve started to read two devotionals called She Reads Truth and if:EQUIP.
they are both female aimed devotionals, though she Reads Truth has a male counterpart
called He Reads Truth. Both of these
devotionals are very scripture based and get you to really think of what is
being said even in the smallest of texts. They have made me change how I read
my bible drastically and it helps.
Apart from that, ive also been listening to lot of new
music. The amount of new artists I have found are too numerous for this post so
I may just write a different post of my January discoveries. :) But what the
best thing ive found is the video below that speaks of the message that they
find in the song 'Good Good Father.' I know that I wrote a post not that long
ago with a different version of the song and my mini interpretation, but I
think this video sums it out so beautifully and clearly. It reminded me that as
long as God is my Father, I won’t have to worry for anything because he has it sorted.
It’s who he is.
Ellah xx
p.s. they are one of the many new musical artists I've found. I really like their music :)
